Burnt residue on CU

Been looking at a CU where the main switch has burnt out, or rather the N connection on the bottom has. The busbar is fine. Upon inspection, the plastic back of the CU has the residue of burning but no actual damage (that I can see). I don't like leaving this but the customer already has a replacement switch. Would you guys be happy leaving all that burnt-ness in there?

if its just a fine ash residue its not a problem but it should be cleaned up
its a result of plasma arcing from a loose connection.
if the plastic is deeply pitted it should be replaced
