Just i simple question peeps.

When chasing out a wall to fit 1.5 twin and earth how far do you have to chase? 50/65mm? Also you cant just plaster over the cable cause thermal insulation.. whats the plastic cover called? which you place over the cable then to plaster/fill over?? and is this tacked into place with small nails?

Sorry if its a stupid question. so far all my work has been done on metre square boards lol

That's where you've gone wrong my friend, don't use bell housing, i tend to install a three phase air horn where permissible, really let the neighborhood know you have guests.

Did the OP mention chasing out to 65mm depth? That's 2.6 inches! Jesus, if you do a horizontal chase you'd be sawing the top of the house off. Daz

The new cables would hold that roof up no problem lol

I think people must get the excavation bug and seem to be prepared to destroy the house for a piece of cable
