Hi - a couple of domestic residence ones are Regulations 411.3.3 for socket outlets and 411.3.4 for lights.

Any reason for your question, can I ask?
 
it is never compulsory. BS7671 is not statutory.
however it does specify where RCD protection is required to comply with the wiring regs.
