Hi everyone, happy new in advance to you all. Wondering if you guys may be able to help with my faulty dryer. My dryer was not spinning anymore and after Googling/YouTube found out the belt has snapped…replaced it with a new belt today BUT now for some reasons it keeps tripping the fuse box every time I press the start button…..any ideas the possible faults or fix? It was definitely powering up before I opened it up to check the belt.(see pic of the tumble dryer I have)

Did you have to disconnect any wiring to get the new belt on?

If no, then there may be a trapped wire under something you've removed to get the belt in, or the new belt has rubbed against some wiring

I did remove wire labelled 1 to get the new belt around the drum….was trying to remove wire labelled number 2 but it was just not coming off so left it and managed to get the belt around the drum somehow.0B413098-403E-43A3-8BFE-A8732FDB1838.jpeg
