Hi Rako controls is best solution.

hi all,

Customer has a sub main to a barbecue area , mains board then sockets and switching for lights etc.

He would like to switch the lights on from the house , so was wondering how best to do this , I've try'd lightwave in the house itself and think they are terrible and switch failing alll the time dimming impossible 2way laughable . So would like to stay away from that make guys

Cheers

Hi Grandfortune
I have used a lot of lightwave in last couple of years we had experienced quite a few issues mainly on the switching of LED units but most of that was due to us overloading the units, have since used more & have even used the wireless switch with the relay master & works well about 25meters.

Rako can be installed in wired or wireless format. I have done both in new build, extensions or new outside lights where controls is difficult tend to stick to wireless versions for ease. Though Rako are bit more cost wise, they keep working. I like to do the job once and leave knowing I wont get called back for faults. Plus once a customer has few of these they tend to upgrade their complete installation which is always good. If you have opportunity to use the RAK-4 makes for a cleaner better looking installation.
