I've owned my electrical company for around 10 years over this time most of the work has been on a sub-contract basis. I'm now beginning to work direct with clients.
But i'll be honest im stuck at what to charge for callout hours and general day and night hours. I don't want to put the tender in to light nor to heavy.
Some help would be apricated.
Thanks Tom

ballpark starting point, IMO, £250/day (8 hours), £30/hour small jobs, with initial hour @ £45. for rewires and similar, could price per point e.g. £60 /point standard white accessories (obviously more for the higher current circuits like cooker points, showers.). the figures i stated should be as a minimum.

Crikey self employed for 10 years and you don’t know what to charge

I'm reading it that the OP has been allocated contract work for the past ten years and therefore has not been involved in the financials, other than being paid his agreed rate for whatever he does... which is likely to be far detached from what the agency or company are charging out at.
