I have little problem with questions from my course for C@G 2330 level 3.
I cant find answers anywhere, buuuu...
please help:
question 1:
what is the recognised practice for the supply to a new installation whose assessed demand is expected to be greater than 23kW? To install:
a) A 50mm 2core PVC/SWA sub mains cable
b)A 3 phase supply
c) 50mm meter tails
d) a 200A BS1361 fuse in the service cut out
question 2:
Earth fault loop impendance (Zs) test: When conducting a Zs test on a ring final circuit, the Zs readings taken at the socket outlets gradualy increase toward a particular outlet, then gradualy decrease moving away from it. This is baceuse the socket having the highest Zs reading:
a)has a loose connection
b)is the closest one the midpoint of the ring
c)is a non-fuse spur
d)is the furthest one from the midpoint of the ring
question 3:
Determine the actual Zs of a A3 radial circuit wired in 2.5mm PVC/PVC flat cable having a 1.5mm CPC it is lenght of run is 40m and it is installed in a location that will never exceed 30C. The value of Ze is 0.35 Ohms.
a) 1.32 Ohms
b) 1.16
c) 1.13
d) 0.37
