dimplex xt12 thermal cut out

does any one know where the thermal cut out is on a dimplex xt12 and how the front cover comes off

Just realized its the same one as I have right next to me, screws are on the back - take it off the wall.

Open it up and trace the mains cable in, the thermal cutout will be on the main cable between the mains inlet and the control board.

From experience these heaters are normally on a separate supply of electric - from another CU, which is supplied by the Economy 7 supply, which only comes on between 23:30 ad 06:30. So you have to be up during that time to check its working.
