When you say the wee girl is nosey.. do you mean she is curious?

Or like my wee doggie she sees the world with her nose?

I keep mine entertained on walks by throwing her ball into trees, bushes, heather etc so she has to sniff it out.
When she finds it she's as happy as a pig in excrement ;

Any dog its the owner that causes them to be dangerous around children or other animals
I have a staffie 12 this year he was 8 weeks when I got him from a dogs and cats home he had already had 3 owners and been mistreated
never shown any aggression towards any person, dog, horse or cat or bug lol

I and my family have had a number of different dogs in my lifetime from German shepard dogs, collie, mongrels and not one showed any aggression or try to bite someone or something

The dog will be how you want it to be if you train it to do so

What a beautiful dog, well they are all gorgeous and I love the boxer!!!! I used to be very friendly :ihih: with a man who had a chocolate brown lab. I could lie and stroke him all night. The dog used to get jealous though.

Any dog will be what you want if its trained and looked after properly.

But my personal preference and what I have always had are GSD's, Wouldnt have anything else.
Protected me as a kid and ime sure mine will look after my kids should I every have any LOL

I have a border collie, mad as a brush, timid but very sweet and smarter also than I give her credit for. Was in a customer's house (doggy people) they said bring her with you.
So I did, was working in the kitchen installing a fan, guy came up behind me when I was facing the other way and she put herself between me and him snarling.....he thought she was being fickle...i realised later she had noticed I was otherwise occupied, didn't know he was there, she decided he was a potential threat and that she was going to protect her dad....all 22kg of her (though her teeth are frighteningly large.....) she calmed down once i turned round...
