Hi guys I've gone the mining route for the last 20 years and as such I'm a bit rusty on the domestic side of things.
Anyways my questions are:
1. in a domestic household, do we still try to have 2 lighting and 2 power circuits mixed?
2. What form of RCD is everyone using right now?
Is it 2 pole RCDS protecting a couple circuit breakers, or are we sticking with 1 RCD/MCB protecting 1 sub CCT?
3. 15A GPOS: are they allowed to be looped off a GPO, or are they to be on their own dedicated circuit, or is it still situational?
Are 3P main switch RCDs still utilised?
Is it still a minimum of 2 smoke alarms in an average household (200-400 sqm)?
And are the smoke alarms to be interconnected as a requirement?
Thanks guys
