You don't need Nic numbers Risteard. You generate your own numbers.
As a member of the Nic you neither have to use their certs or numbers.

I didn't say you had to. However some Clients will only accept NIC certs with NIC numbers. A lot of government bodies for example will reject other certs.

Probably right, I used to print the Nic logo onto my certs.
