Electric UFH

Hi Guys

After some advice please ;-)

Doing bathroom at home putting electric UFH heating in, only every used same make together: warmup mat and warmup programmer.

Question is I have 2 x Heatmiser Neo stats currently doing rads & UFH(wet) elsewhere in house.
So want to stick with Neostat.....

- Would there be any issue me using a different make from warmup on their UFH mat ?

depends .if you are using the stats as room temp sensors, should be OK, but the ufh stats have in floor sensors to measure in the floor itself.

Going to use via floor sensor.... the neostat-e does come with one

Yep it will work fine. You can adjust the settings in the neostat to work with any floor probe, but best if you use the probe that comes with the stat.

The manufacturer of the heating element itself is irrelevant. I normally use ‘heat mat’ and neostats

ok mate cheers.... for some reason I've always used warmup mat & stat - though it was something to with warranty.

Neo stat much better ;-)

The combined air and floor stats seem to be more accurate for controlling the room temperature, notwithstanding it is the most expensive form of heating, now Air Source Heat Pumps on a wet system of floor heating much less expensive and very accurate IMO.

Heatmiser neostat is my go to ufh heating stat and are very reliable
