I m designing the electrical loading for an extension with an existing 4 bed hse. The loading of the existing hse is 1 x electric cooker. 3 sockets in every room and no electric shower. The protective device ( supplier) is 60Amps. The proposed extension is a 1 bed hse with an open plan kitchen. The loadings are 1 x electric cooker, 1 power shower, 3 x 1kw heaters total of 13 x 50w spot lights and 2 security lights.I propose to take the feed from the the existing property. Applying diversity, would 100Amps be enough to serve both properties. Just need a second opinion. many thanks

i should think 100A is plenty for what you suggest. first make sure your DNO will upgrade to 100A.

what kind of fee would be involved in your expierience telectrx... my brother on about barn conversion on a farm which would require a supply.... i said 5k for a supply but i justmade that up

Be grateful you haven't got an 80A supply and 66A of continuous duty ground source heat pump!!!!!
