The 'Emma Shaw Electrocution' thread seems now to have deteriorated into insults and wind ups and it's becoming difficult to see the wood for the trees, but an interseting point came up concerning what has caused this apparent confusion over safety earthing therefore I'd like to open this question up to the forum if I may:

Would anybody like to describe the different functions of 'equipotential bonding conductors' and 'supplementary equipotential bonding conductors'.

Re: Equipotential bonding conductors & Supplementary equipotential bonding conductors

Read BS 7671 definitions and it is not difficult to see what the difference between the 2 is, you do have a copy of the BGB don't you?

Hi David,

are you trying to discuss functional earthing?

The only reason i have locked this thread is that the OP is no longer a member and i do not want his legacy kicking off another row on here!
