Hi guys. I am just wondering if anyone knows if the old meters can still be repaired and who does them? I know it is possible but I cannot find anyone to do it anymore. Happy to ship across the planet as long as there is someone who can fix it. I have a 1651 origional series. Cheers.

try "The Calibration Centre" at Stafford. google them. trouble is, shipping from Oz would probably cost more than a new meter.

Cheers. I was trying to find flooked but they have disappeared it seems. If they charge similarly then should not cost me more than 440 AUD . Cost of replacement here is still 1k plus. If they can do the 1651 to 1653 hack it will be well worth it

about to send a 1651 to recal in Manchester, will let you know how that goes

I have a 1653 that the RCD test is out. Quoted £300 to repair as they would just change the circuit board. Hasn't been switched on in a few years. I'm not home till next week, but if it's of interest, or use to you, it's yours.
