Fault appeared on a CL48 today. error code 301. I rang Fronius technical for guidance not being a trained service partner, they started me off, by checking the fault log, after not finding a problem they asked me to look inside the unit and take out all the power racks. I declined there offer and asked for one of there service technicians to come out.
We don't have any they said you will have to find one of our service partners who will charge for there services, Fronius only supply parts under warranty.

So anyone with there central inverters will either have to pay to have it repaired or fix it themselves. So much for warrantees

What about the original installer?

Last time one of the power racks failed took 2 days to sort out, they wouldn't compensate. I asked for training they wasn't interested. Also the unit is still under warranty or so a thought. They swap out the string inverters and pay so why not the central inverters
