I still think the Flyte is a beauty, it's just horrible to play. I suppose for a ton it would be a pretty ornament but that's about the best you could say about it

It was an interesting concept and there was a lot of hassle over the name. Burns wanted to call it Conchord but the aircraft Concord was the new kid on the block at the time and they weren't happy about a guitar having a similar name.

I had a little play with one of the first batch. Its serial number was 7 I think.

Once again. Alembics are great to play but there's absolutely no bottom end to them. That's why all the old funksters use em. Have you heard Mark King's tone? Bloody awful

Yup.

Never was a fan of his.

Now Avell Shaw was a bass player.
 
To be fair i fancied the Alembic or a Jay Dee for the looks, i stand by what i say, you cant beat the tone of a P bass, hence i have my 76'

Of all the bass players i really respect i think Nathan East gets my vote!
