Guidance notes

Can someone tell me what the purpose of the guidance note booklets are all about?
Do they go into much more detail on each section of the regs book or is it just each section from the regs book?

they are an in depth section by section guide of the regs the most commonn being gn3 inspection and testing a must have if just starting testing

hi markspark666, have you read guidance note 5 protection against electric shock?
I am wanting to get a really good understanding on this subject and was wondering if it would be worth purchasing?

not mate ive not but if its as detailed as gn3 its worth a look

Watch out folks the only up to date Guidance notes out at moment are 1,3 the other ones for sale are for the 16th Edition and shops are tying to clear stock.
