Anyone taken this yet? Its a multiple choice test, apparently easy. But dont take my word for it.
Looking forward to getting it out of the way and doing the science behind electrics.

Yes Floody it is easy from what I recall.

Read up on fire extinguisher's, there colours and the use (good few points for that section).

What to do when you find someone injured:- fit attack, knocked out, bleeding, electric shock OR receiving an electric shock etc.

Who to report to

HSE rules, eg how many days off due to a workplace injury before the employee needs to report it to them? It used to be 3 days, think its changed to 5, please check on that one with your tutor or ask on here.

H & S warning signs. Get to know the different colours and shapes and what each one of them is eg a mandatory sign eg Must wear hard hat/steel toe capped boots etc.

You will be fine Floody and all the rest that will have to take this exam. The cscs exam is very similar to this but a bit more ground up and real world type of questions (plus the ECS card exam).

If you get anything less than a credit on this exam you will be banned for life on this forum lol

yes,its pretty easy.there were questions on asbestos x2, gas bottle colours and storage of them, quite a bit on ladders, scaffolding ie height of ladder above platform, toe boards, types, ditances.and excavations and confind spaces.those are the ones which stuck out.hope that helps

Got 2365 h&s module exam on 15th can't wait to get it over and done with. Google 'Swindon massive' if you haven't heard of it already, there's loads of course stuff and mock exam questions on there

Im on the 2365 level 2, and our tutor has taught us through the electrical science side, hopefully to be taken before xmas. Hopefully get the worst out of the way first and it should be downhill from then.
Weve been recommended swindon massive too, decent site to practice on.

Weve been told ours is for 5th december, lots of revision as I dont wanna do any retakes.

Dont panic lads, its one o the easiest exams you will ever do. Most of it is common sense, rest of it is signs and what fire extinguisher to use.

Just to report back this was pretty easy compared to what I thought it would be, a few things that we hadn't covered in class but on the whole mostly common sense and a decent result at the end of it (distinction) , well happy :) a credit to my tutors mainly tho, they taught me, I just had to remember it!

Mines next week, to be honest im not too worried, but like everyone else I dont want to do any rekates. 60% is the passmark, I think ill do it :)

My main concern is making sure I get the signs and fire extinguishers right.

Lol you won't believe it if I told you. Taking it after Xmas now due to work. College we totally fine with it. It's just I leave work at 6 and couldn't make the time we needed to be there for. At least the college are prepared to swap stuff about.
