I've been asked to install Schneider AFDD's into a single phase board. I'm to supply the board with RCBO's and AFDD's. I've purchased the new AFDD's with combined RCBO protection for 3 circuits. The issue I have is that they don't fit into an Acti9 board. I'm thinking of buying an additional board with just a din rail in it. Installing the 3 AFDD's in here and feeding these via an MCB from the single phase board.

Schneider offer a 12module live and neutral busbar which would fit (the AFDD's take up 4 modules as two are blank on each one).

Interested on hearing peoples ideas/experience with this.

Thanks,

Out of interest why are you locked to Schneider? Has someone got them already?
At the moment I can't understand why you want the hassle of a 4 module unit, when there are other manufacturers where a 1 module AFDD will just fit in the CU without drama, and avoid needing a 2nd box. Fusebox comes to mind.
