Hey everyone

I’m an electrical contractor, and I’ve been thinking about something important:
Should we really get proper estimates for our projects? And how necessary are they, really?
I’d love to hear your thoughts on a few things:
Do you think getting estimates is a waste of time and money?
Or is it a crucial step for managing profit margins, material planning, and labor costs?
Do you create estimates yourself, or hire a professional estimator?
If you regularly use estimates, have you noticed a real benefit on any of your projects?
