Hi everyone I’ve done a bit of metal conduit before but been reading up online and seen people saying about marking the former to know where to place the marked conduit to know where to place your mark to get the bend right, I’ve also seen someone say about subtracting 50mm and lining it up with the edge of former to get your back of bend.

Would anyone be able to explain this in more detail please
