Hello all, hope you're having a good weekend!

I'm just doing a bit of CPD.

I've just watched the Napit webinar on AFDD's (02/11/22). I'll be making some notes which I can show my assessor, but i wondered if this was the correct or perhaps only way to prove you have watched it? Is there some kind of certificate you can download?

What do you guys do to prove you have watched one of the Napit webinars?

If you watch them live on the night, you get a certificate emailed to you the next day.

I don’t know how you prove you’ve watched on catch up, on their site though?

I’d probably just log it on a sheet.

I think I shall continue to do as I have been then.

I write about a page of notes. I document time of webinar and a link. I also link where I have discussed it on this site. Plus, because i actually have watched it and am not making it up, I can have a discussion with the assessor about it if needs be. I suspect they will be happy with a few notes.

In fact I have a few pages of scribbled notes on AFDD's that I have in front of me now about to write up! I'm toying with the idea of either spending an hour in the gym instead though, or just drinking a beer and watching the snooker.

I think you'll be fine with doing all that. I’ve never been overly grilled about what I’ve done CPD wise, but they definitely wanted to see proof that I’d done something with AMD2 and not just got the new book.

It’s a Saturday afternoon / evening, drinking beer wins every time in my house. 😎🍺👍

I've no idea with that crowd, but the NICEIC e-mail you a CPD certificate for theirs. Likewise the ECA e-mails certificates for some events.

On the general theme of CPD, what else counts? Do things like MEWP and PASMA courses matter??
