BBL Technical have an amazing opportunity to hire 4 HVAC Technicians for immeditae work in South Sudan and the Central African Republic in support of the US Government. Candidates must be certified British Standard 7671:2008 (17th edition) and will be required to have a police background check and undergo a pre-deployment physical and dental exam.
These positions will be in remote areas and employees will live on camps that may be tents, employees may also be required to share accommodation and be prepared to live and work in austere conditions so previous experience of working in remote locations / war zones would be a must.
Work cycle is 120 days on with 21 days leave and we are able to offer excellent salary and benefits.


JOB SUMMARY:
Works individually or as part of a team performing testing, terminating, general installation, repair and troubleshooting electrical systems as well as HVAC equipment. May function as an electrical inspector when required. Performs work ensuring compliance to British Standard 7671:2008, helping with British Standard interpretations and helping ensure both new work and O&M repairs are British Standard compliant.
Assembles, installs, services, and repairs air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating units used in the equivalent of homes, schools, commercial buildings, industrial buildings, military bases and camps.
Functions as site lead when required. Supervises work crews, and helps oversee all electricians and HVAC systems are installed and maintained in compliance with contract procedures and policies in daily work execution.

BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have minimum period of 60 months of experience within the electrical trade with a valid/ current Joint Industry Board Certification (JIB) as Electrician, or approved level and demonstrated electrician level of skills with 24 months of verifiable leadership experience.
Certified British Standard 7671:2008 (17th edition)
Must possess the ability to utilize electrical and HVAC testing equipment. May assist in performing the testing and perform inspections while maintaining accurate documentation.
