had a dell 1700 series laptop dropped off at my shop today he said i could have it for parts
the customer removed the hard drive so i got to looking at it
here's the reason he couldn't use it
the laptop he ordered came with a UK plug on the power pack.
he didn't realise that the plug end is a separate device and could be swapped out with a US. cord.
dropped in a hard drive and installed linux.
works great
got a nice device for nothing:clap:
I'll hang onto the UK plug as a souvenir or in case anyone wants it.
