Err, yep I do, 10 of. around 7kg each (or 16lb in old money)
Where do you get steel balls, I can't search no more, I keep getting dodgy sites -;)

Just had a thought, concrete balls would do, where/how can i make a mold

Why not use lead and cast your own in a sand mould;)

How do you make a sand mold?

Seems like old window sash weights might do the trick too>>>, I thought the same but trying to source them is not easy, scrap value that is. I aint buying new ones

I'm basically a tight --- northerner, and I am not going to spend fortunes on 'weight'

I've now ordered some nylon sacks online ( sandbags empty ) 12 of for £5.99, so I just add sand for balance needed to each. Bloody ell sorry guys, sometimes I have difficulty thinking..maybe I should lay off the jack daniels -;)

Please tell, lead balls would be more astecially pleasing than sacks.

Though they will not be in direct eye contact.

This is not a wind up, I can't word it any better

For a concrete mould I'd buy a rake of cheapo plastic footballs, fill 'em with concrete and inset the required suspension/fixing eye bolt (with a big anchoring washer on it) add colourants or whatever. Job's officially a guddun!
