This graph is a bit depressing, I'm sure you'll agree. It is almost beyond belief that we are just a few weeks away from another deadline.

When you consider how many of these must be free installs then it doesn't leave much for the rest of us, does it?

Not great when you consider there's over 4000 registered PV installation companies on the MCS database. There must be a lot of thumb-twiddling going on...and that's before the winter months kick in.

what the ****ing hell is going on?

Is anyone even vaguely busy, or showing any signs of any sort of consumer interest remaining?

We managed to get 2 domestic installations in over the last couple of weeks for 4kW systems, one of which even opted for panasonic, and we had a 12 kw system in August, but that's it since the fit cut, and our domestic inquiries have dried up completely.

We've got a few bigger commercial quotes going out, but they're going to take months to come through.

I think we're finally on the cusp of starting work on around 150 small jobs at really reduced prices for a group of landlords, which will hopefully see us through, but the current situation seems pretty dire, and it's like consumer interest has just evaporated.

What are the bigger bands doing? any improvment there?

We are ticking over on about 1 a week, all word of mouth enquries, nowt from website or lead generators.

Our websites effectively dead. And checking around competitors sites their search results(including some on here ;-) ) are dead as well. I'm really grateful to GB for putting us such a firm footing. The dappy ***t!

did I already post this analysis of google trends for solar PV search terms I did a couple of weeks ago?

Google searches for 'solar PV' are as low as at the start of the FIT scheme - Leeds Solar | Solar installers blog and renewable energy industry news

google searches in England for solar PV are now lower than they were prior to the FIT scheme starting, which seems indicative of the general malaise.

on a positive note, we just had an inquiry.
