Do people read what they are putting themselves in for? Three guys have applied and all have paid £28 plus VAT for the privilege. If you open a dialogue with the advertisers, who knows what they'll try and con you out of.

It's the same as this one on my Checkatrade feed. She starts with a 17-year car charger contract for Somerset County Council! And then goes on to Paladium International in Gujarat, before ending up with the Grimbsby job that is on My Builder!

Not appropriate to the thread but I trust Checkatrade about as much as I'd trust a chocolate teapot.

It took me 3 years to get removed from the list as a white goods engineer:
1, I didn't want to be on their list,
2, I have never been a white goods engineer
3, I asked why I was on the list and told they had no idea why or how despite Data Protection regulations.
