Hi all,

Just a quick one really. Can anyone either confirm or deny if the new Legrand DX-3 Style MCB/RCBO's will fit the old Tenby Consumer Units of old.
I would rather not have to change an entire Consumer Unit when a simple RCBO in place of a few MCB's will do the job.

Hopefully the answer is yes but I've had mixed answers including asking the likes of CEF etc etc.
I've emailed Legrand too with no answer yet.

Cheers,

Mike.

Unless legrand have done type approval of their MCBs/RCBOs in Tenby CU then I suggest it would have to be a consumer unit replacement. Otherwise I think, in legal terms, you would be making yourself responsible for a CU setup that was not type approved. Open to correction on this if have misunderstood the rules.
