LG 250 mono black or Solarworld 250 Mono

Does anyone know where there are any of these knocking about - Rexel excluded they're too much like hard work to work with. I've got a massive, bog standard bungalow. It doesn't need anything bigger than 250 w panels but the customer is insisting on black with black paper and mono so the LG280's that we'd normally use are no good he objects to the diamond shape on them.

I can get Solarworld 250 at £141 at Alternergy but that seems pricey to me - can anyone help?

You could always go the thin film route (I've always said they're the perfect choice for UK roofs :ihih: ) - Solar Frontier from Dulas/BayWare. They also have Hyundai 250, LG 270, Solarworld and Phono all black

Now why didn't I think of that

Baywa are my preferred wholesaler but they don't do Solarworld or the LG 250's anymore. 270's leave me a bit short and he wants an even number. I don't know why but we either get lovely customers with roofs that are a complete pig to install or pigs who have simple roofs!

Give me a simple customer and a simple roof soon before I go off my rocker!

I bought for the first 2 years from Segen then they decided they weren't going to give me decent prices so I moved. I always had good service & I check regularly but they want £148 for Solarworld 250's and I can get them for £141 anywhere else without even trying. We don't do enough for them to bother about it unfrotunately :-(

Ecolution do LG250 all black for £137.50. Or how about JA Solar all black from Zenex for £125.00? The JA's are good quality kit.
