Lock Off Devices?

i use them, although when i asked for a kit a couple of years ago the wholesalers looked at me like i was stupid i also think they are quite expensive not sure if they are vat applicable but they should not be.

Fair play to CEF if that's the case, but I know with some other wholesalers they have to specially order them for you because it's not the sort of thing that they stock. Some also don't stock warning notices etc.

Obviously not as secure as lock-off devices and often frowned upon in saftey council lock off procedures.I had some nice big red tape , maked clearly in white " DO NOT SWITCH ON " Accquired this whilst working on a petro chemical site.I have never managed to come across this again,even scoured the internet,does anyone know where i can accquire this from.ON industrial sites its been a nightmare with a/c engineers willy nilly turning circuits on,so i lock off

I use one of them.

Not so much for shock protection but more to stop some muppet turning on the big machines while I am still inside them doing maintenance.
