I'm sure they're safe and made to relevant standards but I really don't trust that type of ladder.
I could just see me descending faster that I ascended!

We have used these since they were first brought out, that actual pair you have shown are not that good

The last set i had failed and i ended up throwing them away, had another set and you could really tell the difference in weight and the way they went up that they were much better

Keep your money and buy a decent set than buying them from maplins, if memory serves right these are the ones which bend like a banana when up them

those ladders are really dangerous there was a advert on american TV where someone was demisting the product and just fell right off because they were that unstable. I would save up and buy a better pair.

Gerber do a set for the army but they are about £300 and just something else to get stolen from the van......

I have one for light everyday use i am 17stone and feel safe on them
For a job that i am planing on being up and down a ladder all day i take a normal ladder or use a tower
