We are looking for a distribution board to provide 3 * 160A three-phase feeds, but they are basically redundant supply path options so max total is 160A as well. I had been looking at using a Hager MCCB panel (as we generally have been using their MCB DBs) but many of them are limited to 125A out, only some of the bigger 800A ones offer combinations of 250A & 125A for some bizarre reason.

Other obvious choice is the EATON 4 Way 250A panel (EPBN1425) as that is rated to 160A out on all and fits the bill nicely. However, I don't know how good they are these days, they were good and hopefully still are, but I wanted to check if anyone knows the good, the bad, and the ugly of MCCB selection?

TL;DR suggestions for reliable MCCB panel for 3*160A feeds.

I only fit the Schneider Powerpact4 (the old Merlin Gerin range) boards personally.

The MG25C4 might suit what you need if all you need is an incomer and 3x 160A TP ways.

I'm guessing the PP41603X is the matching MCCB for 160A. Do you know if there is a direct connection option for feeding it?

In my case its coming off a fused-switch not far away so no need for a incoming switch/breaker on the panel.

I have fitted quite a few of the eaton panel boards and they seem well built with plenty of space.
however with160A outgoing cables you might want to add an extension box to help with cable management,

Useful to know.

In my case there will be 150x150mm trunking at top/bottom and almost certainly I will be using tri-rated cable, probably 70mm, for the connections though I was also considering parallel 50mm just to make routing & bending radius, etc, easier everywhere when pondering 95mm.
