to be honest I didn't really want to do it with the potential issues with the current wiring. Now I know why :wink5:
 
So he's got a BG mate to do it wonder if he's going to do the required EIC and notification through BG as well r1r2 + socket tester with 1 light on Zs ooo eehhh volt stick lit up yipeee
 
I'd get your mate to insist on seeing the installation certificate and part p notification certificate afterwards. He will want to make sure the work has been done safely for him and his family won't he?
