Hi, I’m currently in the midst of setting up my fish room and I want to be able to meter how much electricity this room is using, the power supply is running from my house out to a shed that has a RCD box and then from that point to my other shed with yet another RCD box.

My question was if I had a meter installed after the last RCD (inside the fish room) would it meter the entire house or just the fish room?

Thank you in advance!

Hi Lewis
The simple answer to your question is that it would just meter the fish room.
However, the rest of the installation you describe sounds a bit haphazard!

I agree, I would first worry about discrimination between the Rcd devices as tripping may be an issue.
