Moderator Approval?

Why do a lot of my posts now require moderator approval?

I've also seen other members question this but their question was lost within other threads.

Ive been on Moderators Approval since 22nd October, not that its bothered me as the mods have done a good job at approving them quickly.

Hang in there. I'm setting something clever up. But needing to program it a bit.

On the flipside no automatic spam is going live at all. And of the humans that register and get through our spam detection systems manually, zero of those are going live.

Some members are fully pre-moderated and until I'm happy to remove that, they will always be pre-moderated.

Some members go in there Friday night after the pub and come out Monday morning when we are sure they are mostly sober. Lol

But the situation you're mostly talking about in here is my new automated moderating system that I'm programming to detect wording and phrases and whatnot. It's not fool proof.

I look at our threads now, and then look at Facebook and YouTube comments and even other forums, and am bloody proud of you lot. You're absolute legends to moderate. Totally understanding.

It's a big mess on Facebook in comparison we are so lucky that of the posts being caught about 99.9 are being approved and it's usually the odd off topic one we ditch and not keyboard warriors wasting loads of time.

Anyway ? hang in there I'm sitting down with the data before end of week and making final few adjustments.
