At least being factory built they'll be some quality control.

I think the statement that 20% of homes will be built like this in 9 years is very optimistic.
Mortgages aren't going to be easy to get, especially 30 year.
(sharp intake of breath) Non standard construction Sir /Madam, with no proven track record.
I'd guess they're being built for rental with Commercial loans on them.

I'd imagine you can't tell the difference internally, they're basically a timber framed building with brick slips glued on or high performance render.
