Hi lads, have not posted for some time, I have a question that I need to ask before I start a task I have been assigned to carry out this week with the help of a qualified sparks.
We’ve got to mount 2 separate db’s side by side . The supply armoureds will run down one side mounted on ladder and terminating into the bottom of both boards .
The circuits of both boards are run in singles in same 150 mm trunking above the ceiling. They will come down the wall in the containment and then split at a tee in the header left and right 2 metres above finish floor to their perspective boards obviously entering through the top.
I was wondering if this is compliant or should they be in separate cableways at this height.
I am thinking if one board is to be isolated for maintenance etc the circuits for the other board would still be live in the header.
To shed more light on the reason I am asking. I am still learning and in the process of gaining more experience to complete the am2 next year.At the risk of making a complete fool of myself I thought I might ask the question.
