I count 5 euphemisms in that one statement - genius if you intended it @Kamikaze

My mid-life crisis, like a runaway train going off the rails, is brought to you by decaf coffee. Hopefully you’re still enjoying it!;)

Never have I ever called the NICEIC and asked for the personal phone number of Emma Clancy.:)

Never have I ever cut clean through a test lamp lead in my tool box which had managed to get between the jaws of the croppers that I use for meter tails.
So so close to doing exactly the same thing 1 week ago.
Made a little note to self, "everything has a place - PUT IT BACK WHEN YOU'VE FINISHED WITH IT"

Never ever wired a meter up wrongly and wondered why the wheel was spinning backwards.

The only excuse is that me and a mate did a whole house rewire for a neighbour in two days.

Never ever have Pulled some singles in some kaanduit, only realise when I reached the final destination I had twisted the cables around some pipwork, I never ever did that about 10 years ago.,
Never have I ever pulled an swa in through the middle of my step ladders

Edit
Sorry just noticed Adj have never done it either

I'd have cut a rung off. :D
Always one too many on those pesky steps anyway
You don't really need the bottom one anyway, you could always use another set of steps to get to the higher one, anyway just watch the SWA route as it could end up like a Giants rosary beads!

Never have I ever looked in horror when introduced to said method with a "you may just want to stand in the middle of the hall away from sockets"

Was still a little wet around the ears at that point :D

Drilled through the Italian porcelain tiles of a customer's brand new bathroom refurbishment while fixing a metal back box to the bedroom wall next door.

Is it a 'get out clause' legally because the sentence starts with "never have I" - I hope so, half of these could be used in a court of law and most of @Pete999s should be in the confessional!
C of E they don't have them, I just learn to put it behind me and move on.

Don't worry Pete - we know you are whiter than snow.
Though your sins be as scarlet they shall be white as snow, though they are red like Crimson they shall be as wool - Isaiah 1:18 (stick that in your cassock and smoke it!)

We probably have Lady999 to thank for Pete’s good behaviour because as you know, behind every great man is a woman with a hostage.:)

Never have I ever had to use electrical tape as a band-aid plaster.

Never have I ever drilled through a wall only to puncture the hot water cylinder on the other side.
never have i ever, drilled into a nice wide black mortar joint only to find it was a buried 15mm gas feed pipe to the hob.

Never ever have I answered a thread on this Forum only to receive a nonsensical answer, and not know what to say in response.

never have i ever known you to be lost for a response. :D

Never have I ever looked into the back of a live DNO Glasgow switch to guess the cable size and get it monumentally wrong, only to find out when we got DNO to turn power off to work on the system days later that the 70mm lugs and glands where never going to work with the 240mm cables, and where do you find 240mm stuff off the shelf, we got the job done by pure luck and intuition.

I never get to live that one down, and in my defence they where buried right at the back, but I failed to mention that I could of pulled the metal plate up and read the 240 x 4 plastered all along the side of the cable

Never have I gone to an Electrical exhibition and left without buying something, even though I didn't need anything, now come on tell no porkies.

Never have I ever removed a starter in an unfamiliar panel only to short out the 24dc transformer by accident leaving a big percentage of the bull ring shopping centre with no ventilation for 20minutes while I wonder if all the red lights on the relays where on before or not :gru2:

Never ever was I given a job when I was a Lad to replace a rotary switch on a grinder, easy Pete terminals marked abc etc only to find the existing were marked 123 etc, couldn't do so went sick, I only never ever didn't do that ever again.

Never ever have I worked with a Project Manager who told me he wanted the 3 compartment plastic trunking fitted at floor level in an office job, and at the end he tried to impress the Female staff by taking them to the office supply depot to buy furniture, only to find that after assembly the privacy shield at the back of the units went down to floor level and you couldn't access the workstations sockets and Data points, never ever did I nearly Pee myself with laughter, honestly not ever.
