Good afternoon all, I’m new to the forum and I’m NOT an electrician!

I’m in the process of renovating my poorly built house and I’m looking to sort out the lightning to the lounge. The ceiling is down. At the moment I have 2 pendant lights controlled by 2 switches which bothswitch the lounge lights on and off. What I want to do is add 3no downlights to thebay area along with 4 downlights to the mainceiling area as an addition to the pendants. I want to beable to, if possible, switch on all the lights together, the three bay spotlights on their own, the four ceilingspots on their own and thetwo pendants on their own.If that is not possible I’ll settle for all the spots on atonce, the pendants on their own and the whole lottogether. I’ve been looking at a 3 gang switch but likingst it now I may need a grid to get what I want.Obviously I’m willing to payany of you guys to do a wiring diagram for me.Thanks in anticipation!!

as he says. ^^^^^^. there are qualified sparks members in you area. one of whom may be able to do you a proper job.does not sound too expensive.you could go for some smart lighting. seen so many DIY jobs end in tears. ( brand new ceiling cut up to find faults etc. ).

you could also look at lightwave, lutron, rako. there's also quinetic.

all a matter of personal preference ( and cost). i'd look at the quinetic first. unless yo want remote switching from mobile.

Not really worried about cost, if I’m doing it I may as well go for the best system and as everything is phone controlled nowadays anyway I may as well do the lights too!!!
