I am wiring an external soap dispenser into a large washing machine and there is not a terminal to connect my common wire coming from the dispenser.

I know where the signal wires connect and I am wondering if I can double tap L2 at the main power supply with the dispensers common wire?

There's not much anyone can say to help without some information.

Do you have any paperwork, wiring diagrams, or even a maker and model number of the appliances?

What do you mean by "double tap L2" ?
