The foundation hole looks, eeerrm, massive. A bit different to this, a screen shot from a film of building the first run of metal pylons in New Zealand.

Without looking I’ve a good idea of what they’ll be like. I was involved in some major plant modifications which involved a new 200’ steel chimney. Rock anchors first, an intermediate foundation ring, followed by the ground level foundation ring. Everything had to be pre-stressed before pouring commenced.
 
When i was in the piling job,years back,the biggest augered piles here,were 3.5 meters,at Canary Wharf...we were augering 5 meter piles,and grab-excavating 5m x 1.5m piles,down 30+ meters,in the holy-land...

Anything falling over,after them,is ABOVE the ground :icon12:
