Got 93% on the test this morning (Portable Appliance Testing if anyone CBA to look it up). Quite chuffed and pleased, now thinking about doing 17th Edition (2382) and possibly Inspection & Testing (2392) with a view for the Level 3 (2391) at a later date... Only downside being the local college has cancelled the 17th course that was later this month, and the next one is when all the little scrotes (16-18 bunch) are back in September :(

Well done on the exam. Is that one or two wrong answers? Worst part about that is there is no way you will ever know which ones you got wrong, or what the correct answer should be - and that might just mean the difference between life and death for someone! Anyway, passing the exam is one thing - doing the job properly and competently is quite another! I remember being chuffed to bits at passing my exam, but then not feeling properly prepared when I came to do PAT for real. It takes a while to gain some experience and confidence - but good luck to you mate!

Well done, it always feels good to get something in the bag.

'Little scrotes'! I did my 17th last year, Sept-Dec, and I didn't feel out of place and I was 50.

Two wrong Answers I think it works out at from 93%. Already had the confidence, had to buy the kit and test some stuff for a client before this, but now got the bit of paper that says I'm competent to do so!
The little scrotes relates to the general population of the college doing other trades and other qualifications, some of the guys on the course were doing the level 2 electrical course that the college runs, that does a number of the qualifications. They told me that the little scrotes tended to be a tad on the noisy and disruptive side at times...
