Well some of you may have noticed ime now back :)
For some reason still had a red name but couldnt get in here so Dan sorted me out :)

Anywho just thought Ide give you all a update as Ive had a rather mad 6 months.

So you may recall I was ear marked for a Job at shrewsbury hospital, I basicly got the job but then due to budget cuts etc etc I never actually got it so had to stay put for a month or 2.
Anyways I went for a few interviews at various places for production and facilities engineering jobs (facilities being more me) when I went for one at a certain automotive factory in the local area.
I was full of the flu and felt like I had been hit by a bus but they had aranged it out of hours especially for me so I didnt want to let them down.
So in I went looking rather sorry for myself, apologised in advance for my scruffy work clothes and illness then asked if they would mind if I wrote stuff down as we went as I barely knew my --- from elbow so would forget everything!
Well despite all of that the interview went really well and I actually felt a little better once I had been in there a while having some good banter with the Maintenance manager.
So the interview ended, I left and then had to make a tactical dash for a bush outside to throw up in which luckily nobody saw :p

So next day I get a phone call saying I have the job and they want me to start ASAP :D

So I have been there 6 months now and so far enjoying it, Ime doing more "real work" so to speak and I am actually given the time to do jobs (like the star delta thing) which I would of never been able to do before so I think its a good career move for me.
Also now on shift with a very knowledgeable and experienced spark so looking forward to picking his brains for all I can before he retires LOL

So yes things are looking up, ime happier, spending less time working and earning far more money.

Life is good :)

Oh....

Refill please bar man ;)

glad to hear you're diong OK.

Me too, milk the experience mate I did, and it's worth it

Glad to hear you are doing okay, so you haven't used the MICC tools I gave you.? lol

Sadly no Dave, but there is plenty of pyro about so there is time yet!

Mostly SWA work though, I have made off more SWA's in the last few months than i have the last few years!!

Even considered getting one of the SWA stripper things but £90 is a high price tag for something I can do with tools totaling less than £5!!

And yes I will be milking all I can Pete.

Good stuff, long may it continue.
I am talking about the beer!, but I suppose the job as well.:17:
