i see what you mean, i guess some people dont want to help,
however there are many sparks on here who when "outsiders" ask advice they will just say "get a qualified spark in"

Yes agree seems to be a lot a tradesmen of all types out there in the UK seem to have shall we say bit of a chip on the old shoulder. Wonder what reply a gas fitter would have got if he had asked a similar question.

I would imagine he would have got a polite response saying he probably should get someone qualified in IF it was anything major, not a condescending list of things with no help offered at all.

However, DS wasn't asking for anything major, he didn't say he wanted any work doing on it, he just wanted to know if these guys knew how to re light a pilot light. As far as I'm concerned that's like a plumber coming on here asking something simple like how to replace a starter in a flourescent, and we wouldn't shoot someone down for that, would we?

Also, his mate going 'nice one puddle' is laughable.

As DS says, makes me happy to be a sparks.... come on, they may have the public's respect for God-know's-what reason, but 90% of them don't actually do any thinking, come on!

no mate the pressure not dropped? has all the indication lights as well but fails to start!

suggested a reboot i.e off and on at the FCU and see if it resets but nothing! he is livid as its god dam typical to happen when it snows lol..

i can imagine "puddle" is a name that has stuck for all the WRONG reasons!! lol...
