Hi I'm on screwfix looking for a harness for the IPAF 3a 3b course. I have £100 limit can some please recommend the correct one I should be purchasing for the course.

harness in a scissor lift? bloody #ell. nanny state strikes again. back in the day, harnesses were only used for climbing across girders, and that was only available if nobody else was using it.

Last time I did my IPAF they were optional in a scissor lift but mandatory in a boom lift. They actually asked us not to use them in a scissor lift as it hindered the observational checks you are supposed to do when moving and lowering.

It will probably be for the boom (3b). You most certainly need one in them. Catapult-tastic!

Wasn't a need for one in the scissor lift when I did mine.
