Hi all,

Pics below

I need to get the wire out of a push fit holder to thread the cable out of base (can't go the other way as there's a switch which can't be removed)

Worse case I'll cut the cable but would be good if I can re-use the sockets as I need several.
Cable is stranded so can't just pull

Thought I read somewhere that there's sometimes a hole I can push a nail into to help release the wire???
Any pointers please?

Ah ha!! Just worked it out...
For anyone else who wants to know, the holes in the middle (look like screw heads in photo but aren't) are springs which released when I pushed gently in with a blunt nail.

Yep, this type of push in connector almost alway has some kind of well obscured release mechanism built into it, the trick is figuring it out.
