Does anyone know where I can get replacement insulated handles for Pliers, cutters etc, got this itch about renovating stuff I have bought from a boot sale, got to have something to do now I have given up on making all things bird related, nest boxes etc, any pointers would be appreciated, and Oh yes I am a Tool Tart just in case you wondered.

The only replacement handles I have ever seen in the U.K. are those soft grip ‘tube’ type but are not vde rated

Not related to insulated handles Pete but have you considered de-rusting by electrolysis ? Its satisfying getting the rust off old tools and bringing em back to life, note that carbon annodes make life easier !

Change of diet possibly a gym subscription try eating food high in magnesium and shes good to go also a good fat source like good quality butter will elevate testosterone levels.

*Watermelon is high in Arginine and we all know what that can do..

I think Pete want to polish a tool of a different sort and not his "chrome dome" Tes369

There used to eb someone n the Uk that sold the dipping plastci, but that was about 20 years agao.
Perhaps moldable glue might be a (rather costly) solution, make some shaping moulds from other handles, wrap the glue round the tool handle and enclose in the (wet) mould, then leave to set. Not practical perhaps. Could do the same with silicone sealant.
