Hi all

I am in the middle of replacing lights in a warehouse/office to LED panels, LED high bays etc. The client has asked for an area if possible to be on a timer between 7am and 7pm and then a PIR for the rest of time. It is all ran in with singles in lightning trunking.
I know the easiest way would be to put them on a occupancy sensor with daylight function but didn't know if there was a product on the market which would satisfy client?

Any ideas chaps?

Thanks

If it is a large area you can put them in parallel for better coverage but beware off their maximum switching capacity. Not sure why you need a separate timer the presence detector should incorporate a timer.

Might be worth asking why they want that arrangement. Maybe the area isn't much used, so the lights would turn off occasionally. Setting the occupancy sensor timer to maximum might be enough to keep them on.

Maybe someone occasionally comes in after hours i.e not between 7am and 7pm. Therefore the PIR would come in to play.
Suppose just a manual override would suffice unless this person is prone to not switching lights off!
