Having had a nightmare recently getting hold of any mounting kit via supplier I have been looking at alternative sources. Dates keep slipping, now up to three weeks from initial notification, still no stock. Chased supplier, no clue what is going on beyond a date on the screen and they can't even seem to speak to the warehouse to see if an order has arrived. Called Schletter UK, they can deliver items sourced from germany but with up to 3 week lead time.

I was beginning to despair and so was one of our customer whose 10kW ground mounted system we started installing in anger today. He was fed up with the delays (just waiting for mid clamps) and got a german speaking relative to contact Schletter in Germany. Placed an order for mid clamps on friday and they were on site yesterday! WTF!

I appreciate that the mid clamps we needed for this job were bare (ie. not rapid2+) but I was amazed at how quickly they appeared. Now pursuing the same lines for other missing items as a lack of roof hooks is now holding up two jobs.

Anyone else had a similar experience on this front? Are Schletter deliveries actually arriving anywhere in the UK? Or can I expect to end up on the week of the 5th December with 5 jobs outstanding? I just can't trust the information I am being given anymore (by that I mean the information I can read on the screen because no-one answers the phone or replies to my e-mails). Thank **** we have all we need for this ground mounted job!
